The cozy Double Room felt thoughtfully designed, making efficient use of space. I loved the unique shower that doubles as a dryer, which dried clothes quickly. This feature really helps when packing light. The complimentary coffee machine was a nice touch for early mornings. Access to cold water in the lobby made it easy to refill our bottles. The location next to Nishiki Market opened up a fantastic range of food options, all just a couple of steps away. However, the room might have been too warm and dry during winter nights, though the hotel provided a humidifier to address this. Still, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff truly made my stay special. They treated us like family, providing recommendations and directions without hesitation.

I had a wonderful stay at goco stay kyoto shijo kawaramachi while exploring the city. The location near nishiki market made it super convenient, and the spacious room with amenities like a kitchenette exceeded my expectations. The staff were helpful, even walking us to the train station when we were lost.

the small double room was dark and incredibly cramped, not what I imagined for my stay. the rooftop terrace idea was ruined with discomfort as lacking cushions added insult. I expected a complimentary bottle of champagne or something as a gesture, but apparently, that’s not the standard here. I almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

The spacious room featured an in-room washer, but I occasionally heard a clicking noise at night. Overall, a lovely stay.

The hotel boasts an incredibly helpful team, who went above and beyond in providing support with our travel concerns. Not only is the location perfect for exploring Kyoto, but the kitchenette in the room and additional rooftop patio made our stay very enjoyable.

The cooling system could be more effective during hot summer nights!!! The overall size of the room might feel cramped for some guests!!!
